For seaming wove, secondary, high density rubber foam and polyurethane foam backed carpets.
Uses
To be used in conjunction with JM400 multi-purpose adhesive for securing and joining the edges of carpets to prevent carpet seams opening and fraying. To be used for seaming woven, secondary, high density rubber foam and polyurethane foam backed carpets.
Preparation
Pour JM100 seam sealer adhesive into plastic dispenser bottle, cut the nozzle to create 2mm opening and place the cap over the nozzle to prevent the JM100 from drying out.
Application
Carpet seams must be cut dry and butted together; fold back both edges of the carpet and apply JM400. Place one side of the carpet into the JM400; remove the cap from the plastic dispenser bottle and apply a bead of JM100 along the entire seam, carefully place the neighbouring seam into the adhesive and avoid squeezing the JM100 onto the top fibres of the carpet. Replace the cap on the plastic dispenser bottle. When the installation is complete pour the JM100 back into the screw top JM100 tin, do not store JM100 in the plastic dispenser bottle.

- Ensure area of use is well ventilated.
- Avoid prolonged contact with skin and if sensitive, use barrier cream or gloves.
- In case of contact with eyes, mouth or nose, rinse with plenty of water and seek medical help.
- If adhesive is spilled, remove and dispose of it in accordance with national and local regulations for waste materials.
